AIR COMPRESSOR OIL:
It is advisable to change oil at least once a year. For a rotary screw compressor, it is important to change oil every 7000-8000 hours of it being used. For a reciprocating air compressor, it is important to change the oil after 3 months.

It is very important to be mindful of the oil you use for the air compressor. You cannot use car oil and expect it to run optimally for a long time.
Choose compressor oil wisely because it:
- Provides lubrication to moving parts
- Expels heat from the compression
- Prevents air leakage
- Cools are important parts of compressor elements
While functioning, compressors get too hot. The normal highest temperature of the rotary screw compressor is set to be 120°C. If the temperature exceeds the limit, the compressor will stop functioning. Also, keeping the compressor running at peak temperature for a long time leads to the formation of a thin layer inside the compressor. This layer significantly affects the oil cooler and halts its efficiency.
